TD Garden
As New England’s largest sports and entertainment arena, TD Garden has been home to many prestigious figure-skating events, including the 2014 U.S. Figure Skating Championships and the ISU World Figure Skating Championships® 2016. Located in the heart of Boston and convenient to public transportation, including the MBTA’s North Station, it is known as one of the country’s most fan-friendly venues for figure skating, with a seating capacity of approximately 15,000 for the World Championships.
Boston, MA
Boston is the state capital and most populous city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Steeped in American history, Boston is also known for being one of the country’s most well-informed and enthusiastic sports audiences. Figure skating is no exception. In 2016, fans packed TD Garden for the World Figure Skating Championships, selling out several events and rewarding the best performances of the year with multiple standing ovations.
VOLUNTEER
Whether you’re a skater or a skating fan, this large international event cannot happen without the help of committed volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, see the event from behind the scenes and experience the most prestigious and important annual event that figure skating has to offer. Volunteering is also fun! There will be daily raffles, cool souvenir gifts and a grand prize raffle at the end of the week. Whether you volunteer for two shifts or the entire event, we are certain you will have a great time and create memories of a lifetime.
